The Richmond Shire Council wishes to advise that unsealed roads within the Shire may close without notice due to higher than average rain fall. Council advises motorists to stay clear of creek crossings and flood ways and pay attention to road closure signage for their own safety and for the safety of emergency services.

Web Cameras
The council has several cameras located throughout the shire. Camera 1 is watching the Cambridge (or Stawell) river crossing on the Croydon Road approximately 42km from Richmond. Camera 2 is watching the Hulberts Bridge crossing on the Frontage Maxwelton Road crossing of the Flinders River at Maxwelton 40km west of Richmond. Camera 3 is watching Ambush Gully which is 6km east on Richmond on the Villadale Road. Camera 4 is watching Mountain Creek, which is 6 km north of Richmond on the Croydon Road.
