Charlie Wehlow Oval
Located in Simpson Street, Charlie Wehlow Oval is home to the Richmond Tigers Junior and Senior Rugby League Teams and provides a great venue for school athletics carnivals and community sports.
The facility boasts a canteen, bar and toilet facilities.
Tennis Courts
The Richmond Tennis Courts located in Crawford Street has 4 grass courts under lights and a recently installed new club house. Fixtures feature on the social calender each Wednesday Night (membership applies) and is a family friendly club.
Swimming Pool
Richmond has a 25 metre public swimming pool, which is a popular spot for fun and fitness throughout the warmer months of the year. Swimming lessons, and even aqua aerobics are available during the season, as is swim squad coaching.
Lake Fred Tritton
Completed in February 2003, using local earthmoving contractors, the national award winning Lake Fred Tritton provides locals and visitors alike with the opportunity to enjoy freshwater based activities such as swimming, skiing, canoeing, sailing, fishing, jet skiing and even snorkelling – activities not normally available in inland towns. The lake also boasts a surrounding walking track, a playground, a water park, extensive lawns with shady trees, free BBQ facilities, clean amenities and the Bush Tucker Gardens. During the warmer months, the lake becomes a central hub for all sorts of fun and recreation for families and during the winter, it is a delightful spot to walk, picnic, or just relax.
The lake is stocked with over 18 species of fish by the Richmond Fish Stocking Association and monitored by the Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries. Species include red claw yabbies, barramundi, sooty grunter, sleepy cod, archer fish, forktail catfish and golf grunter.
Skate Park
Located in Crawford Street, West, the skate park is a recent addition to Richmond's recreational facilities. The Skate Park was built in consultation with the youth of the town. The Skate Park also incorporates a Bike Safety Path. Plans for shade and a toilet block are underway.
Jack Brown Lions Park
Jack Brown Lions Park houses the Richmond War Memorial, and is where the town celebrates Anzac Day services every year. The park has extensive lawns, clean amenities and shady trees, overlooking the Flinders River.
Bobby Murray Memorial Park
Located in Goldring street adjacent to Kronosaurus Korner Bobby Murral Memorial Park has clean amenities, BBQ, picnic tables, ample shade and a large Play Gym for children.
