Richmond Library is a Centrelink Access Point, Variety of Fiction Collection: Adult, Young Adult, Childrens, Large Print (in books hardback and paper backs), Non Fiction: Adult, Young Adult. Childrens and Large Print, Audio Books: Tape and CD. Adult and Childrens, DVD's and Reference Materials. Six computers available for the public to access the internet free of charge.
New titles are available regularly to ensure the Library's collection remains up to date. If the item you require is presently in our collection but out on loan a reservation will be placed on the item. It is the up to the borrower to check with the Library as to when the item becomes available. If an item is not in the Library a request can be made through Public Libraries Service. Just ask the Librarian.

Membership
Membership is free of charge to all residents of the Richmond Shire. There is no minimum joining age. All you need to do is complete a Membership Application available from the Library. As there is no waiting period, you can commence borrowing items from your first visit. All members must be responsible for any loss or damage of books they incur.
Town Borrowers
Each borrower may choose 4 items for a loan period of 2 weeks.
Country Borrowers
Each borrower may choose 6 or more items for a loan period of 4 weeks.

Printing - single sided colour - A4 - $1.70 per page
Printing - single sided black and white - A4 - $0.70 per page
Centrelink Access Point
Access Points provide free self-help facilities (phone, fax & computer) where customers can conduct their government-related business including information products and forms, access to a telephone to call the department, Medicare claiming facilities and a fax/photocopier. Access Point staff can also sight and photocopy Proof of Identity documents for Centrelink. There is no additional face-to-face staff assistance provided.

Open Library provides access to more than 1,000,000 free ebook titles. Account holders can borrow up to five eBooks for two weeks from the growing collection of mainly 20th Century titles. Each title can be borrowed by one patron at a time, and you can read it in a web browser or in Adobe Digital Editions as a PDF or ePub.

To find books to borrow, go to the eBook Lending Library which shows works which have editions available through the Internet Archive. You can also use the search page and check the box that says "Show only eBooks" though this will also return results in DAISY format.
