I’m honoured to serve the Richmond community as your elected Councillor. Having grown up on a cattle station in neighbouring McKinlay Shire and later moving to Richmond nearly 30 years ago to run a family property with my husband, I understand the realities of living, working, and raising a family in the bush.
Much of my career has been dedicated to health care in Richmond, where I’ve worked as a Registered Nurse, Community Nurse, Child Health Nurse, and currently as Director of Nursing at the Richmond MPHS. These experiences, along with my background in agriculture, give me a practical and collaborative approach to Council.
My priorities include:
- Maintaining and improving local infrastructure.
- Supporting vital community services such as Richmond Aged Care, Outside of School Hours Care and the Library.
- Reinvigorating opportunities for community engagement in the Arts.
I bring to Council my values of integrity, accountability, and respect, with a strong commitment to transparency and community engagement. I welcome your ideas, feedback, and concerns.
