I’m Patsy-Ann Fox and have been a Councillor since September 2015.
I was born and raised in Richmond. I grew up in a family that instilled service to the community and believed that you needed to voice concerns and be involved.
I am very proud of my connections to the North West and my family’s involvement in Richmond over many generations.
My husband and I operated an aviation business from Richmond from 2000 – 2023. We educated our son, Thomas, who now resides and works in Cloncurry and have been a part of many community groups and organisations. I’m an avid advocate for our town and community, a firm believer in volunteering and giving back.
Education is extremely important to me and for our community. I value being able to support all levels of it. It is absolutely imperative for us to continue enjoying a strong early education centre, state school, distance education support and after-hours schooling care.
Roads, supporting local business, aged care, medical care, infrastructure, housing and a future for our youth are all vitally important to me.
I love my home town and enjoy working with the Richmond community and as a Shire Councillor.
I am focused on Richmond now and what will move us into the future.
