Available grants include:
🔹 Essential Services Hardship Assistance Grant
Lost one or more essential services (power, gas, water or sewerage) for 5+ days
• $150 – individuals
• Up to $750 – families of 5 or more
🔹 Emergency Hardship Assistance Grant
For immediate essentials such as food, clothing, medical supplies or temporary accommodation
• $180 – individuals
• Up to $900 – families of 5 or more
🔹 Essential Household Contents Grant
For uninsured, low-income earners (tenants or owner-occupiers) to replace essential household items
• $1,765 – individuals
• Up to $5,300 – couples or families
🔹 Essential Services Safety & Reconnection Scheme
Up to $5,000 to assist with inspections and repairs to reconnect electricity, gas, water or sewerage
🔹 Structural Assistance Grant
Up to $80,000 for uninsured, income-tested owner-occupiers to repair or replace damaged homes
